Contact Lenses

There are many different options available today for contact lens wear. New contact lens technology brings exciting new products that allow us to treat a greater degree of vision correction including Bausch and Lomb multifocal lenses for presbyopia, Acuvue2, Acuvue Advance, 02 Optics, Frequency 55 Torics, Pure Vision and others.

A contact lens evaluation can be performed to determine the best contact lens product and style for your eyes. Contact lenses are medical devices and the proper fit must be carefully determined by an eye care professional. A comprehensive eye exam and in some cases, evaluation of your corneal topography will be performed to determine the appropriate lens type and parameters. For first time contact lens patients, this is a process that may take several appointments to obtain optimal results. For existing contact lens patients, periodic annual contact lens evaluations and dilated eye exams are required to renew existing contact lens prescriptions.

If you are looking for non-surgical options to reduce your dependency on eyeglasses, ask us about corneal refractive therapy using Paragon CRT®. Worn only at night, you can lead an active lifestyle and enjoy the freedom of no daytime contact lenses or glasses use with this lens therapy. Be sure to mention CRT if you are interested in this option.
